They are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a background in RF Engineering or Computer Science to support the Army C5ISR Center’s EW science and technology lab, focusing on FPGA VHDL firmware development and collaboration on electronic attack countermeasures.

Responsibilities

FPGA VHDL firmware development for RF EW systems

Develop system/signal of interest (SOI) models

Integrate third-party models

Collaborate with intelligence and mission partners to develop/evaluate electronic attack (EA) countermeasures in a hardware-in-the-loop environment

Support engineering evaluation of EW system models

Required

5 years experience with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Understanding of RF EW concepts and applications

Proficiency with software-defined radios (e.g., Ettus, Epiq), GNU Radio, and/or firmware programming

Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, VHDL, and C+

Strong MATLAB skills, including Simulink and relevant toolboxes (DSP, signal processing, radar, etc.)

Familiar with the LINUX operating system

U.S. Citizenship

Minimum active SECRET Clearance; TS/SCI eligibility required - must be able to obtain immediately post-onboarding
