Inside Sales Intern

The Inside Sales Intern role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how sales, customer service, and operations work together in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting real customer projects and managing order details.

Responsibilities

Support the Inside Sales team in daily operations and customer interactions
Assist with order entry, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Conduct quote follow-up with customers and internal teams to ensure project momentum
Help manage and maintain accurate sales and customer records
Assist the sales staff by preparing, updating, and organizing estimates and submittal packages
Coordinate with scheduling and delivery teams
Facilitate and track shipments and order logistics
Assist with return processing and coordination with internal teams
Participate in Inside Sales process optimization and support process documentation efforts
Communicate with operations, production, transportation, and installation teams to ensure alignment on project needs
Maintain professional communication with customers, project managers, designers, and internal partners
Identify potential issues or changes needed and help prepare change orders
Support additional sales-related administrative tasks as needed

Required

Current college or university student at the sophomore level or above, pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Strong customer-service mindset with a willingness to support customers and internal teams
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to engage in sales conversations and customer outreach
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams
Commitment to accuracy in sales-related documentation and processes

Preferred

Experience or interest in Smartsheet is a plus
