Responsibilities
Starts up, operates, and shuts down pouch forming, cooling, sealing, straw strip placement, coding, and conveying systems of the pouch machine
Makes packaging roll changes as needed
Optimizes equipment uptime; monitors mechanical operation of equipment and unjams machines
Helps troubleshoot mechanical problems and notifies technician of issues
Supervises quality issues, performs and records checks on pouch visual points of quality
Performs and records checks on seal alignment
Ensure adequate quantities of accurate rotated foil stock (FIFO) are available and tested
Complete all required audits
Document pouches material losses, downtime, and production totals; palletize finished boxes of pouches
Maintains good housekeeping
Ensure 'Area of Responsibility' is clean and orderly
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
Ensures completion of all DMS forms (ie. CIL, CLM, 5S, Defect handling, Shift hand-offs, Oscar boards, etc.)
Maintains room as a tour ready status
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (steel-toed shoes, hair and beard nets, bump caps, gloves, eye protection, aprons etc.)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
Non-temperature-controlled environment
Must be comfortable working on a tablet/computer
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able to work as both an individual contributor as well as work well as a team member
Must be able to adapt to a changing environment/schedule
