Lead Compensation Analyst

Delaware North is a family-owned company with over 100 years of history, seeking a full-time Lead Compensation Analyst to join their Total Rewards team in Buffalo, New York. This role focuses on leading the design and administration of compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness while collaborating with HR partners to enhance compensation strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead annual merit and incentive compensation processes
Conduct job evaluations and recommend salary ranges
Maintain and update compensation data in Workday, ensuring accuracy across job leveling and pay structures
Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and market analyses to support benchmarking and informed decision-making
Collaborate with HRIS and Payroll teams to ensure compensation-related system updates are implemented accurately and timely
Monitor compliance with compensation policies, FLSA classifications, and pay equity standards
Provide guidance to HR partners and managers on compensation inquiries while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related field
Strong experience with incentive plans and merit cycles
Familiarity with compensation survey tools and job evaluation methodologies
Candidate must reside in the Buffalo, NY area

Preferred

MBA
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas
Experience with Workday
Certified Compensation Professional or SPHR designation
