The Senior Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering will lead the delivery of real-time market data applications and manage vendor relationships while providing technical leadership to a team of engineers and developers.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of real-time market data (LSEG/Refinitiv/Bloomberg) entitlements, oversee and drive on-time completion of analysis, design, development, testing, and release in partnership with the Product / Platform Managers
Managing Market Data Applications (LSEG/Refinitiv/Reuters/Bloomberg) and entitlement systems (DACS, EMRS)
Capturing detailed data flows and documenting downstream consumption
Governing usage against license and sharing restrictions
Manage Product / Platform-specific tech vendor assessment and ensure vendor accountability
Escalate incidents or concerns to the SDG Lead for resolution as needed
Provide thought leadership and support for team of engineers and developers with issues and questions
Provide technical feedback to Product Owners, integrating input across all technical teams (incl. solutions architecture and design)
Collaborate with Engineering Lead to identify opportunities for process improvement where relevant through research and continuous improvement
Manage and track adherence to tech development KPIs, with regular aggregated reporting of progress across Hub

Required

3+ years' experience in managing live market data systems (LSEG/Refinitiv/Bloomberg)
Vendor & Relationship Management experience and comprehension of Vendor Licensing and Usage agreements
Ability to communicate with technology, operations, architects, key stakeholders, and senior business partners
Strong execution skills and ability to navigate the organization to get things done
Hands-on technical skills to be able to swiftly identify real-time market data issues or data content problems
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred
10-12 years of experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
