Responsibilities
Conceptualize, write, edit, and produce on-air advertising campaigns and commercials from start to finish
Determine what needs to be promoted and what program components need to be prepared in close collaboration with the Creative Services Director, News and Graphics Department
Create and edit radio and television commercials as well online concepts
Plan sponsorships and promotional positioning
Qualification
Required
Television news or production experience- 2+ years
High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Marketing, or related field or comparable television work experience preferred
Hands on experience with Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro a must, working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects (a plus)
Exceptional organizational and multi-project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to shoot and direct
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management
Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
Working at night or on the weekends might be required to meet deadlines
