They are seeking a Senior Building Commissioning Engineer to support the building delivery process, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure proper system installation and performance.

Responsibilities

Consult with the client to develop scope and project requirements

Develop commissioning specifications and perform reviews of the system designs and submittals

Develop commissioning plans including functional performance test scripts

Conduct commissioning coordination meetings

Verify proper system installation and performance. Track issues to resolution

Documentation of all commissioning-related activities

Required

BS degree in engineering or other related field (extensive experience and demonstrated commissioning related skills may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree)

At least 5 years of commissioning, building design/construction, or facilities management related experience with an emphasis on HVAC and control systems

Commissioning certification required (Building Commissioning Certification Board or ASHRAE) or ability to obtain within six months of employment

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check is required

Proven project management skills and ability to work independently

Strong interpersonal skills. Must interact confidently with clients, other contractors, and employees

Excellent oral and written communication skills and high attention to detail

Possess a comprehensive understanding of control theory and building automation systems including packaged controls, a broad understanding of all building systems, and the building delivery process (design/construction)

Familiarity with USGBC LEED and sustainability

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
