Responsibilities

Monitors quality standards for installation of materials and products for Mechanical HVAC systems to ensure they are integrated in projects and the fabrication processes
Performs job walks and inspections at construction sites and/or fabrication facilities to ensure compliance with government regulations, OSHA and company safety requirements and contractual specifications
Documents and communicates inspection results
Identifies and recommends solutions for non-compliant situations
Follows through to ensure compliance and conformance
Maintains various procedural documents, including continuity logs and code books
Reviews procedures for compliance
Clarify procedural issues and conducts training as needed
Partners with superintendents to maintain resource licenses, including expiration and renewal date
Reviews project equipment specifications and documents
Secures specialty permits
Informs management of potential problems
Reviews project requirements for Quality Assurance/Quality Control and help project teams identify roles, responsibilities and expectations before the project begins

Required

High school degree or equivalent
5 years of progressive quality control experience or relevant experience
Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, processes, and methods)
Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations as well as safety policies and procedures
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
Proficient in MS Office
Organizational and planning skills
