They are seeking an Industrial Water Engineer specializing in biological wastewater modeling to work in their Private Sector Group, where the engineer will design industrial wastewater treatment systems and ensure project completion within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

Industrial wastewater treatment system design modeling using GPS-X, Biowin, or other for industries including food & beverage, semiconductor, data center, and pharmaceutical

Work on industrial engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans and specifications, and prepare cost estimates for various water projects

Plan, schedule, and complete engineering work on projects of various sizes through proposal, concept, design, construction, and startup/commissioning

Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards

Coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments

Serve as a wastewater modeling mentor

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental engineering

5+ years of water project experience with emphasis on biological wastewater modeling

Experience includes industrial wastewater treatment and reuse, transmission/distribution, and storage

Registration as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within six months

Experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team

Work well in a team environment

Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred

Master's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental engineering
