Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and complete charge capture and coding associated with the Radiation Oncology department
Reconcile clinical documentation with billed charges
Identify discrepancies and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve issues, reduce preventable denials, and optimize workflows

Qualification

Epic SBOMOSAIQ/ARIACPT codingICD-10 codingCurrent coding certificationHealthcare Compliance certificationRevenue cycle functionsDenial managementClinical reconciliationFinancial reconciliationCollaboration skills

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience, with at least 1 year in radiation oncology
Current coding certification (CPC, COC, RHIT, CCS, or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with Epic SBO and MOSAIQ/ARIA

Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management or related field
Experience with clinical and financial reconciliation in Epic/MOSAIQ/ARIA environments
5 years of healthcare experience with demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle functions, denial management, and third-party payer requirements
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), CCDS, or CDIP
Participation in audit, denial resolution, or compliance initiatives related to radiation oncology
