Responsibilities
Assist with inventory (organizing, pulling, counting, shipping)
Order parts from vendors
Receive daily shipping (may be required to use fork-lift)
Give received parts to technicians
Create purchase orders and receive against them
In charge of warranty parts
Ensure full credit is received on returns, warranty and cores
Accept phone calls for parts department and complete request
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
You must have a background for heavy duty truck parts
You must be able to identify sizes (ie. ¼”, 5/16” ½”, etc.)
You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
You will need to traverse a flight of stairs multiple times a day
Must be well organized
Be detail oriented with attention to detail
Have a valid driver's license without restriction
Must be able to work overtime when required
Preferred
Minimum three years' experience preferred
Fire truck knowledge is not necessary
