Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and manage F5 load balancing (both LTM and GTM)

Design, deploy, and maintain an enterprise network infrastructure

Provide operational support for data center networking

Resolve security tools, infrastructure, or system issues

Create alerts that trigger/activate on configured setting to deploy or sends a note, email, or attachments to a particulate destination email or groups

Validate security rules (alerts) that trigger anomalous activities or threat detections

Required

Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, APM, AFM, AWAF)

Experience with F5 BIG-IQ for Centralized Management and Monitoring of BIG-IP configurations

Ability to work independently with provided requirements

Possess a self-starter personality to acquire a path forward based on research and requirements gathering

Preferred

Eight (8)+ years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Six (6)+ or more years of IT security experience

Experience with both the Linux and Windows operating systems

Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure and O365 and cloud access security brokers

Experience in the use of network monitoring tools with a strong understanding of network protocols

Ability to perform security analysis, development and implementation of security policies

Candidates that are local to the Washington, DC area for occasional on-site datacenter support
