HR Shared Services Specialist
Addison Group is partnering with an established education organization in Chicago seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Shared Services Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to support employees and HR team members in a collaborative, service-driven environment by responding to inquiries related to benefits and HR policies, ensuring timely resolution of requests, and maintaining a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, FMLA, and leave programs in a timely and empathetic manner
Support the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and eligibility verification
Coordinate with HR business partners and third-party vendors to resolve complex employee issues
Maintain accurate documentation of cases and communications in HR systems
Assist with general HR inquiries such as payroll, onboarding, and policy clarification
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in HR support, shared services, or employee benefits administration
Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and general leave management processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
Preferred
Proficiency in HRIS and ticketing systems
