As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Intern, you will assist the engineering team in the execution of project work related to the design and modification of power plant systems, while gaining hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs

Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data

Required

Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a strong academic background and coursework in analog and digital control systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Preferred

Prior, related internship or co-op experience is preferred

Coursework and/or experience in mechatronics and/or robotics

An understanding of the practical application of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and technology, including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design

Enrollment in an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program is preferred
