Responsibilities
Review and negotiate contracts and grants from federal, state, and local government, non-profit and foundations sponsors
Read and analyze research grants and contracts
Acquire, maintain, and interpret knowledge of contractual policies and procedures, and sponsor regulations
Coordinate with multiple offices within the university system to meet standards for contract compliance
Work with Pre- and Post-Award staff to coordinate incoming awards and contract amendments
Analyzes potential solutions using technical experience, judgments and precedence, providing input and recommendations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Attention to detail is critical
Preferred
Working knowledge of excel and PeopleSoft
At least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Experience working in higher education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
