Colony Brands, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dynamic intern to join their team in a dual role, gaining exposure to both Human Resources and Fulfillment Operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand the intricacies of managing a fulfillment facility while participating in the hiring and onboarding processes for the temporary workforce.

Responsibilities

Interviewing candidates, hiring, and orientating new employees to meet temporary hiring goals

Performing reference and background checks on applicants as needed

Processing necessary paperwork related to hiring

Conducting temporary employee surveys

Updating and entering drug screening information into our computer system

Supporting the Human Resource Manager with special projects and tasks as assigned

Working with Supervisors and Managers to coordinate and direct the receiving, movement, production, and shipping of products and gifts

Meeting daily production needs throughout the facility

Coordinating daily warehouse functions with Supervisors

Assisting in training temporary warehouse employees

Analyzing and/or developing new warehouse functions

Reviewing and updating procedures pertaining to the production operations environment

Communicating work-in-progress status to other Supervisors throughout the shift

Required

Highly driven individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Capable of giving clear and concise instructions

Effectively handling difficult situations with empathy and diplomacy

Working towards a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or related majors

Junior or Senior standing, recent graduates may be considered

A cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Effective presentation skills

Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary

Knowledge of supervisory procedures and concepts
