MQ-9B Emergent Requirements Project Manager

Responsibilities

Oversees all activities related to developing, planning, and scheduling of proposals
Manage and monitor proposal schedule, timelines, and milestones to meet proposal submittal deadlines
Work with the Program Lead to ensure a thorough understanding of customer requirements (including hardware, personnel, logistics)
Participates and coordinates the technical writing, editing, production, and delivery of the proposal
Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are met
Serves as primary interface for proposals with management, strategic development, engineering, production, finance, contracts, et al
Manages the research and analysis of historical data, coordinates the development of cost and ensures proposals meet RFP requirements
May participate in or lead segments of the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business
Coordinate with cross-functional groups to standardize proposal offerings (to include personnel support, spares methodology, hardware pricing models, etc.) to streamline the proposal process and improve proposal cost accuracy
Coordinate with appropriate pricing teams to develop a comprehensive cost basis to support accurate pricing for potential hardware, personnel, logistics, and other proposed solutions
Travel as necessary to support in person briefings
Recommend strategy and guidance for all proposal activity. Lead solution, theme, and development meetings
Prepare and manage annual Bid & Proposal budget
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Required

Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and eleven or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least five of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education
Must demonstrate extensive knowledge in the development, coordination and application of proposal principles, concepts, regulations, and practices; comprehensive project leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones; and in-depth knowledge of defense industry processes and practices for both competitive solicitations and sole-source U.S. government proposal submissions
Must be customer focused and possess the ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment in resolving complex management and technical problems
Must be customer focused and possess the ability to serve as spokesperson on various projects
Must be customer focused and possess strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to enable an effective interface with others
Must be customer focused and possess knowledge of computer applications and operations pertinent to the field
Must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and lead in a team environment, and able to travel as required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance is required
