Maybell Quantum is a rapidly growing venture-backed startup in the field of quantum computing. They are seeking an experienced Cryogenics Scientist to lead the design and development of cryogenic hardware and collaborate with engineers to create functional prototypes and production-ready products.

Hardware

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the conception, design, development and manufacture of cryogenic hardware

Design and conduct experiments to test modifications to existing components and prototypes to increase performance, efficiency, and manufacturability

Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products

Work across functional areas (cryogenic, electrical, software) to deliver fully integrated products

Qualification

CryogenicsDilution refrigeratorsPhD in relevant fieldCommunication skillsSelf-starter

Required

PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent experience

5-8 years designing, building, or significantly modifying dilution refrigerators

Self-starter with ability to drive results independently

Strong written and verbal communication skills
