Director II, Global Compensation

Responsibilities
Lead Fluor’s Global Compensation function as a member of the Compensation COE Leadership Team including leading the regional Compensation Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including annual salary review and short-term incentive programs globally
Assess labor markets and key business needs to develop pay strategies that balance global competitiveness with cost effectiveness
Develop and implement communication and education strategy for effective promotion of the global compensation programs
Lead compensation projects and initiatives involving cross-functional collaboration with significant strategic and fiscal impact
Oversee vendor management with data management systems
Build a strong network to partner with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Legal, and Audit
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and global HR business partners on compensation matters
Oversee global salary survey process, salary structures, and job architecture
Oversee global compensation policies and procedures
Monitor global compensation trends and regulations, staying abreast of applicable legislation
Manage and coach global compensation staff ensuring their growth and development
Execute other duties, projects and assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience
Subject matter expertise in global compensation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Detail oriented – exceptional attention to detail
Data savvy - ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
Minimum of 10 years in a Global Compensation role
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational and strategic goals
Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies to promote global compensation programs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and employee engagement across diverse regions
Preferred
An advanced degree such as Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
Experience working with SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, and WTW Compensation Software
Knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration
Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
