New GradChildren’s Theatre of Charlotte is dedicated to spreading kindness and inspiring young artists through innovative theatre education programs. They are seeking energetic undergraduate students to serve as Summer Camp Administrative Counselors, responsible for overseeing administrative tasks and supporting camp counselors and teaching artists during sessions.

Responsibilities
Oversee a wide range of administrative tasks, including preparing camp materials such as rosters, name tags, crafts, scripts, and mailings
Maintain clear and welcoming communication with parents, Teaching Artists, and summer staff
Provide essential support to Summer Camp Counselors and Teaching Artists, assisting with student supervision during camp sessions as needed
Qualification
Required
You must secure and provide your own housing in Charlotte
You must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to and from the theatre or the summer satellite camp locations
You will be granted time off only for personal emergencies (illness, death in the family, etc.)
Compensation advertised is non-negotiable
You must be available to commit to the timeline listed and available to work 40 hours per week
Minimum of three years of completed college coursework is required
Strong phone etiquette is required
Experience in youth programming and working with young children is required
Detail oriented, organized, and unflappable under pressure
Experience with customer service and/or interacting with parents of children and teens
Preferred
Background in theatre, education, or administration preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Google Forms, etc.)
