Responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and data engineers to build, grow and maintain the Quality Analytics suite of products and services
Lead & facilitate strategic conversations and prioritization within the team, as well as with senior leaders of each domain
Manage financials – monthly forecasts and headcount across investments and operations
Share best practices, identify synergies & risks, duplicative efforts, team collaboration, connecting the dots across domains, etc
Be the catalyst for technology, software craftsmanship, DevOps, and Agile practices to enable professionalism and culture across your teams
Support strategic reviews with GDIA senior leaders, governance reviews with business partners, and internal product reviews
Develop the PDO and technical skills of your teams with a focus on continuous improvement
Champion talent acquisition, engagement, and retention; Promote an engaged, diverse & inclusive global team with exciting work and rewarding careers
Continue to grow leadership capability within GDIA
Qualification
Required
Master's or PhD. in a Quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering
6+ years of experience building and managing high performing teams
Experience in the automotive industry or a complex manufacturing environment
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data analytics services
Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ certifications) or Data Management (e.g., CDMP)
Sedentary, light work, with occasional travel to work locations
