Responsibilities
Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity architecture and threat modeling
Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Qualification
Required
Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages or applications
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
Practical cloud-native experience
Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for future state architecture
