Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement scalable, production-grade systems and product features end to end
Build fault-tolerant, distributed systems supporting complex operational and financial workflows
Partner closely with founders and senior engineers on technical strategy, system design, and roadmap decisions
Drive projects from concept through deployment with a strong sense of product ownership and accountability
Set a high bar for code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack or backend-heavy production systems
Strong proficiency in one or more modern, typed programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Go, Java, Kotlin, Rust, etc.)
Experience working in large or complex codebases and evolving systems over time
Product-minded approach with strong judgment around UX, tradeoffs, and customer impact
Comfort operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments with high autonomy and ownership
