Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to inpatient clinicians, counselors, and behavioral health staff
Oversee clinical programming and therapeutic services, including assessments, individual and group therapy, family sessions, and discharge planning
Review and ensure accuracy and timeliness of clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of clinical staff
Participate in daily treatment team meetings to support clinical decision-making and case management
Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement initiatives, programming enhancements, and compliance efforts
Provide clinical oversight and support during crisis interventions and high-risk situations
Provide direct supervision to assigned clinical and support staff
Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and licensing/accreditation standards
Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for staff, promoting professional growth and clinical excellence
Qualification
Required
Active LCSW or LPC license in Virginia
2–3 years of clinical experience
Preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health or substance use treatment
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
