Biomechanics Computational Modeler
DCS Corp is seeking a Biomechanics Computational Modeler to support the Biodynamics Group within AFRL at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The role involves analyzing human responses to impacts and conducting biomechanics research using advanced modeling techniques.

Responsibilities
Use of dynamic modeling programs such as LS-DYNA for the analysis of injury and determining injury thresholds
Analyzing and modeling movement/kinematic data
Engage in physical injury biomechanics research
Interaction with human subjects and instrumented crash test dummies
Engage in PMHS research
Capable in Solidworks and CAD software for the design of test fixtures
Familiarity with TEMA and video analysis software
Finite Element Modeling using LS-DYNA relating to occupant safety
Analysis utilizing high fidelity Finite Element human body models (GHBMC, THUMS or equivalent)
Application of biomechanical sensors and data processing requirements
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level DoD clearance
Strong analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Graduate degree desirable
Experience with Finite Element Analysis
Experience with CAD modeling software
Experience in a collaborative research environment
