Responsibilities

Provide maintenance engineering, depot and field liaison engineering, technical support, and system analysis in support of the SRD Maintenance Engineering Division for field and depot maintenance, overhaul, modifications, upgrades, and repairs for assigned multi-service aircraft, aircraft power plants, aircraft components, and subassembly items

Provide engineering and technical expertise in support of the management and execution of programs covering CSI, CAI, and all other spares and Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) acquisition-related requirements, PQDRs, CBM, AWCF Investment Program initiatives, and standardization activities

Provide Depot liaison engineering support, including production/process/manufacturing engineering support; direct shop floor support to aircraft and component production; and resolution of quality engineering-related production problems

Provide field liaison engineering support, including on-site field engineering support for aircraft repair, modification and operation, and resolution of field engineering-related operational and maintenance problems

Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Critical Safety Item (CSI)/New Source Testing (NST) and Documentation

Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Supplier Interface and Oversight Program (SIOP)

Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Production Lot Testing (PLT)

Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of SARs
