Temporary, RF Assembly Technician (Willing to consider all Levels)
Redwire Space Solutions, LLC, located in Longmont, Colorado, is seeking a Temporary RF Assembly Technician. In this role, you will assist engineers in the manufacture and testing of RF Antenna Array and space system components, while working independently and under limited supervision to ensure high-quality assembly and testing of hardware.

Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and test RF Antenna Array’s and space system hardware and ground support equipment with direction from engineering
Facilitate hardware test activities such as functionality, use of VNA’s, spectrum analyzers, thermal testing, shock and vibration using internal equipment and capability external test vendors
Assist engineers with designs, provide feedback with respect to manufacturability and user friendliness
Work with engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
Perform manufacturing assembly procedures, rework, and repair on spaceflight hardware
Identify faulty parts during the assembly process
Cross train in multiple areas of specialty such as electrical assembly and soldering, structural testing, etc
Model exemplary professional conduct as a representative of Redwire

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent with 5 or more years of relevant experience, willing to consider degree in lieu of experience
Familiar with technical drawings and schematics, and the various symbols, perspectives, units of measurement, notation systems, visual styles, and page layouts used in technical drawings
Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers/micrometers, dial indicators, gauge pins and blocks, etc
Excellent manual dexterity, ability to handle small parts such as fasteners as small as #0-80

Preferred
2 or 4-year technical degree may substitute for years of relevant work experience
Previous Aerospace assembly in RF experience preferred
High mechanical aptitude
Possess strong problem solving and communication abilities
Listen, communicate, and collaborate with production team manager and team lead
High standard of quality workmanship
Mechanical assembly of flight hardware
Experience with electrical fabrication, basic soldering, and wire harness assembly
Use of a variety of manual and electronic equipment
Working knowledge of standards including GD&T (ANSI/ASME Yl4.5), GEVS, IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC 7711/7721, ASTM Test Methods
Continuous improvement philosophies with the ability and interest in advancing existing facilities and developing new capabilities
