The TPM III for Launch Operations/Special Projects will be responsible for managing special projects related to space hardware and launch processing, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful hardware processing for complex projects.

Responsibilities

Act as the focal for special projects related to space hardware and launch processing
Be responsible for inputs and outputs to Launch Operations for internal and externally facing initiatives
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful space hardware processing for unique, challenging and highly ambiguous projects involving space hardware, launch vehicles, satellite dispensers and payload processing
Provide guidance on many aspects of any given project including testing requirements, assembly/integration work cell design or modifications within the payload processing facilities, facility and equipment planning, integration and test application implementation and improvement, process control, design for manufacturability, project management, and tooling design
Work closely with Launch Operations/Mission Management that own the Launch Provider relationships, Dispenser provider relationships, and Payload Processing Facility leadership
Be the Launch Operations liaison for any necessary externally facing vendor relationships
Lead collaboration with other departments to reach the best solution to any problem and technically challenge assumptions and requirements of these departments, such as dynamics and thermal analysis, design engineering, and tooling engineering

Required

5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
