They are seeking a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Sign Fabrication and Technical Production Designer responsible for transforming project requirements into accurate, production-ready drawings and fabrication plans.

Responsibilities
Convert client-provided artwork, instructions, and specifications into accurate, professional proof drawings using company templates, extrusions, and design standards
Produce clean, detailed, and visually clear proofs that effectively communicate the design, components, and overall structure of the sign
Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to clarify missing information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all project details are complete before production
After proof approval, develop precise production files optimized for internal fabrication methods, machinery, and workflow requirements
Determine the most efficient and effective build approach for each project, considering materials, LED layout, structural needs, and fabrication techniques
Maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings, ensuring they meet brand, compliance, and fabrication standards
Support production staff by providing technical clarification, updated drawings, or design revisions when needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sign design, technical drawing creation, or related production design
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with sign fabrication methods, materials, and construction techniques
Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator, with the ability to produce precise, production-ready artwork
Experience with LED layout software such as LED Wizard or equivalent tools
Ability to conceptualize, plan, and illustrate complete sign build-outs using both traditional and modern fabrication approaches
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material limitations, and structural requirements
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in all drawings and documentation
Ability to communicate effectively with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure clarity and completeness of project specifications
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Reliable, punctual, presentable, enthusiastic, and committed to a strong work ethic
Ability to take direction and follow through on tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative beyond assigned duties
Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
