The Senior Accountant, CapEx will ensure proper classification of fixed assets according to US GAAP, adhere to month-end close processes, and play a key role in implementing new Fixed Assets software.

Responsibilities
Ensure proper classification of fixed assets and construction in progress (CIP) according to US GAAP
Adhere to month-end close process and timing for fixed assets, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
Play a key role in the implementation of our new Fixed Assets software
Review CIP balances and ensure timely capitalization of assets
Assist with year-end audit, including roll-forwards, schedules, and support requests
Collaborate with Construction and Operations colleagues regarding project spend and accuracy of asset classification
Maintain asset tracking schedules and look for process improvements
Preparation of other ad hoc schedules as requested by management, lenders, and auditors
Qualification
Required
Minimum of seven years of relevant accounting and financial analysis experience
CPA highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred
Experience in data center, real estate, or construction industries is beneficial
East coast location preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel and report writing skills
Strong communication and leadership skills
Self-starter, organized, and attentive to details
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
Willing to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and manage workload
Team player and positive 'can-do' attitude
