Responsibilities

Advising clients on estate planning, business succession planning, charitable planning, wealth transfer planning, and related matters
Drafting estate planning and business succession documents
Assisting with estate and trust administration
Preparing or helping prepare federal estate and gift tax returns; and
Supporting the establishment of private foundations and other charitable structures

Required

3L student or recent law school graduate
Coursework in trusts & estates, estate planning, personal income tax, corporate income tax, estate and gift tax, and tax-exempt organizations
Demonstrated interest in estate planning, tax, business succession planning, and charitable planning
Strong legal research, issue-spotting, problem-solving, and writing skills
Excellent communication and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
Be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska
