Legal
Responsibilities
US privacy compliance, including compliance with state comprehensive privacy laws and FTC guidance and enforcement
Analysis and implementation of US sale, share, and targeted advertising choice obligations, and good understanding of AdTech
Experience advising on compliance with respect to one or more of the following: children’s privacy, international privacy laws, and/or information security
Evaluating contracts for data privacy terms
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in data privacy compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and provide strategic legal guidance
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to think strategically and assess risk
Comfortable working under tight deadlines that clients sometimes impose
Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, interact with clients, and work effectively as a team member
Eligible candidates must be barred in the jurisdiction from which they will work
Preferred
In-house experience is valued; part-time schedules may be accommodated for the right candidate; more experienced attorneys are valued and welcome
