Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries for subsidiary transactions
Maintain accurate records of well retirement costs and related accruals
Assist with monthly close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis
Support accounts payable and receivable functions for Next LvL Energy
Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper cost allocation and reporting
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Provide documentation for audits and regulatory filings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
1-3 years of accounting experience (energy sector preferred)
