Vice President of Sales

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business objectives
Identify and target potential new markets and clients for our fiber build construction solutions
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key new and existing clients and strategic partners to ensure high levels of customer and prospect satisfaction
Oversee the entire sales pipeline and operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and providing accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership
Work closely with the C-level executives in the human resources, marketing, finance, and operations departments to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies that drive the company’s goals and objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree is required
Proven track record in outside sales, business development, preferably within the telecommunications or fiber optics construction industry
Solid understanding of fiber optic technology, outside plant infrastructure (e.g., underground/aerial) and networking and related products
Ability to inspire, mentor and build high performing sales function with the company
Capable of translating complex market data and trends into actionable sales strategies
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience in making executive-level presentations and participating in contract negotiations
Expert proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Pipedrive), Microsoft Office and Apple hardware (e.g., Macs, iPad and iPhone)
Strong financial acumen, including revenue modeling
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies based on evolving market conditions and customer needs
Willingness and ability to travel frequently as needed
Valid driver's license

Preferred

MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant field
