External Reporting Controller

Responsibilities
Be responsible for BAU activities spanning from data sourcing, data validation and completeness, adjustments processing and performing reconciliations
Work closely with line of business controllers, financial control and product controllers
Executing overall operating model, procedures for functional areas in the reporting space
Supporting business users of the FRI application with User queries, Issue Resolutions
Identify and execute process improvements to the existing operating model, tools and procedures
Interacting with Controllers, Report owners and RFT (Risk & Finance Technology) partners
Escalating issues as needed to the appropriate team(s) and management
Partnering with projects team through the full project life cycles impacting FRI
Supporting programs/initiatives for reporting automation and operating model optimization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
1 year of business, finance or accounting or industry experience
Understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, internal and external reporting, and variance analysis
Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously with tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
High proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
Preferred
Knowledge of Regulatory reporting and related requirements a plus
Alteryx a plus
