Healthcare Business Development Representative

American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. As a Healthcare Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while working closely with the management team to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Identify and research potential healthcare clients and partners through various channels, including networking, industry events, and online platforms
Outreach: Conduct outreach efforts to engage potential clients, including cold calls, emails, and social media interactions
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for converting leads into clients
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to effectively position our solutions
Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals
Client Support: Provide exceptional support and follow-up to ensure a positive client experience and address any concerns
Other: Increase the total number of patients per day
Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments, center, and corporate employees, and franchisees
Maintain relationship with current partners
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the healthcare industry
WC / OCCMED experience
Urgent Care experience
Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including key players, trends, and challenges
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with healthcare IT solutions is a plus
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
