Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage site investigation and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, and sediment
Oversee sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and high-resolution site characterization
Interpret environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical work plans and reports
Evaluate remedial alternatives and negotiate cost-effective closure strategies with regulatory agencies
Implement and optimize remedies using traditional and emerging technologies
Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks effectively
Prepare proposals, support business development, and maintain strong client relationships
Foster collaboration across ERM’s global network of technical experts

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
5+ years of progressive experience in site investigation/remediation under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs
Proven project management skills with ability to lead teams and manage budgets
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and review technical reports
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
Commitment to health and safety protocols
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in NC/SC or reciprocity
Experience with environmental data management tools (e.g., EQuIS)
Familiarity with innovative remediation technologies and electronic field data collection
