Receptionist Supervisor - Beach Club (Full-Time)
Sea Island Company is a luxury hotel and resort provider, and they are seeking a Receptionist Supervisor for their Beach Club. The role involves ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, providing a welcoming environment, and leading the reception desk team while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
Graciously welcome guests and members to the Beach Club as they arrive
Provide a warm and hospitable club environment to guests and members
Ensure club privacy by checking Sea Island cards to verify date, membership category and identification
Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests and members
Maintain high visibility in the Beach Club lobby/reception desk area
Interact with members and guests in a host/hostess fashion, contributing to the overall ambiance that is welcoming and hospitable
Directs and manages all telephone calls for reception desk
Assist guests and members by making knowledgeable recommendations and as requested, follow-up with Reservations and confirmation of a variety of services, including but not limited to transportation, sightseeing tour information, dining, activities and all services provided resort wide and resort
Work with all resort departments to maintain maximum rapport and open communication channel to anticipate and satisfy member and guest needs and demands
Provide our departing guests and members with a genuine thank you and invitation to allow us to serve them again
Act to solve guest problems coordinating necessary efforts through the appropriate departments and consistently follow-up with guests to ensure proper actions and responses have been received
Maintain log entries of guest/member encounters, operational changes and/or situations so that all desk team members can have ready access to previous happenings, upcoming requests, arrangements or special needs
Responsible for scheduling, monitoring, motivating and providing positive leadership for the reception desk team
Ensure the accuracy of staff time and payroll attendance reports for employees
Under general supervision will plan, organize, develop and implement training programs that enhance guest and member experiences
Represent and serve the department as a Learning Specialist
Design and assist in the training and development of new and existing employees based on departmental task inventories, task breakdowns as mandated by the Learning Specialist Program
Maintain accurate records of daily guests/members traffic counts
Prepare and conduct team member performance reviews
Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one’s ability
Maintain adequate amounts of office supplies, forms, equipment and other items needed for the daily operations of the desk
If applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR)form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support)
Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas
Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing
Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately and/or submit work orders to applicable departments for correction
Attends all schedule employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively operate all hotel/resort computer systems
Valid Georgia Driver's License
Proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft applications such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proficient with peripherals, copier, fax, telephone, and calculator
Ability to provide simple math calculations
First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Preferred
One year experience in a Front Office, Concierge or Guest Service role working for a luxury hotel or resort
Experience working for a four or five-star property
High School Diploma or equivalent credentials
College degree
