Responsibilities

As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with DoD, AF, AFRC and other MAJCOM leaders
Serves as the AFRC Command's principal advisor for Integrated Resilience, Strategic Partnership/Communication, Developing Resilient Leaders and community programs and dual hatted as the Director for the Professional Development Center, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met, as well as the needs of AFRC and non-AFRC Airmen, families and communities across all AFRC owned installations and tenant locations

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required
Must be a current member of the AF Reserves or willing/qualified to join
A security clearance may be required
Must sign a mobility agreement
Must possess demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities essential to successful accomplishment of responsibilities inherent in this position
The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use
Employee must maintain current certifications
Must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-14, or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to the requirements for community, families and Airmen support delivery systems
Wide ranging professional knowledge of principles and techniques of social system design to analyze and make recommendations with regard to education and training program objectives
Comprehensive knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, directives, principles, and practices governing integrated resilience and community programs
Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations
Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of subordinate organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources
Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
Federal Time-In-Grade (TIG) Requirement for General Schedule (GS) Positions: Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-14 grade level or higher grade (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral
