Responsibilities
Design and execute application tests on refrigeration systems and components in collaboration with R&D, engineering, and sales teams
Develop new testing methodologies and setups that align with international standards and improve efficiency, accuracy, and product quality
Analyze, diagnose, and optimize system performance based on test data, driving design improvements for new and existing products
Contribute to global laboratory excellence by sharing expertise, supporting capability-building projects, and leading continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure safety and quality compliance by maintaining detailed documentation, clean workspaces, and adherence to Danfoss safety and quality policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Thermal, or related field)
3–5 years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration applications
strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
Hands-on experience with testing processes and methodologies in a lab or field environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
collaborative mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida and engage in cross-functional projects with a global team
Preferred
experience with measurement techniques
metrology
data acquisition systems (such as NI LabVIEW)
Six Sigma or quality tools
hands-on mechanical skills
