Responsibilities

You will help conduct analysis for each operation necessary in the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of statistical data to determine appropriate methods and techniques, as well as the format of the end product
You will conduct, analyze, and evaluate special studies as directed, and provide statistical services as required
You will monitor computer produced compilations to ensure accuracy and advise the Branch Head of problem areas and significant finding
You will assist in performing technical, statistical calculations necessary for studies and reports

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
You must be currently enrolled or have completed a degree program that includes or included 24 semester hours of mathematics and statistics, of which at least 12 semester hours are/were in mathematics and 6 semester hours are/were in statistics
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
