As a Senior Application Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in infrastructure and applications, working with development teams to implement fixes, and enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities
Establish and conduct comprehensive application security testing practices across the full Verda stack
Design and implement security assessment methodologies for cloud infrastructure, containerized services, and AI/ML workloads
Help inform security requirements and standards for development teams
Contribute to security testing integration strategies for CI/CD pipelines
Execute penetration testing of applications and APIs
Assess third-party integrations and dependencies for security vulnerabilities
Ensure application security practices support our compliance needs
Prepare security assessment reports for internal documentation and external auditors
Research and evaluate mitigation strategies, security controls, and preventive measures
Develop comprehensive security guidance and best practices documentation for internal needs
Mentor developers on security implementation and help build security-first mindset across teams
Collaborate with teams on security configuration and hardening
Support incident response activities as needed
Act as security subject matter expert for cross-functional project teams
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in application security testing practices across various technology stacks
Experience in designing and implementing security assessment methodologies for cloud infrastructure, containerized services, and AI/ML workloads
Ability to inform security requirements and standards for development teams
Experience in contributing to security testing integration strategies for CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in executing penetration testing of applications and APIs
Experience in assessing third-party integrations and dependencies for security vulnerabilities
Knowledge of compliance needs related to application security practices
Ability to prepare security assessment reports for internal documentation and external auditors
Experience in researching and evaluating mitigation strategies, security controls, and preventive measures
Ability to develop comprehensive security guidance and best practices documentation
Experience in mentoring developers on security implementation
Ability to collaborate with teams on security configuration and hardening
Experience in supporting incident response activities
Expertise in acting as a security subject matter expert for cross-functional project teams
