Sr. IT Manager

Crane Company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior IT Manager to lead and optimize their IT operations at the corporate headquarters. Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems and networks
Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering professional growth and accountability
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with business goals
Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations
Oversee resiliency program, ensuring backup and recovery processes and technology adhere to company requirements
Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and service-level agreements
Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and KPIs

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or related field required, or the equivalent technical training or experience
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Nutanix AHV), and endpoint management
Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX)
Proficiency in IT service management tools and practices
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role
Proven track record of managing IT teams and delivering successful technology projects

Preferred

Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISM, CCNP)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
