Responsibilities

Simplify the DC Execution ecosystem, improving product excellence and developer productivity through architectural design and refactoring

Craft the future of your product through roadmap definition and strategic planning

Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and partner teams to define requirements and design systems that enable industry-leading GPU/TPU deployment time to fuel Google's AI growth

Provide technical leadership to a large team of Software Engineers and UX Designers, including setting direction and driving collaboration across teams in AI2

Work with Google data centers on a regular basis to interact with users and observe the tool in use

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

7 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent

5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products

Experience with system architecture, distributed systems, and full stack development

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms

5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects

Experience in one or more of the following: data center operations, workflow automation, and machine learning infrastructure
