Boardwalk Pipelines is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry. The Area Supervisor is responsible for leading a team overseeing terminal operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with various regulations, and managing the safe movement of products.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of employees who oversee the terminal’s facilities, operations, and maintenance (O&M) activities to ensure compliance with DOT 192, DOT 195, EPA/DEQ, OSHA regulations, and inter-company and industry-related policies and procedures

Managing and ensuring the safe movement of product in and out of the terminal

Serving as the primary customer contact

Continuously monitoring equipment

Overseeing maintenance as needed

Identifying and reporting abnormal or safety-related operating conditions

Submitting accident and near-miss reports

Supporting emergency response activities

Accountable for regulatory compliance and operational procedures related to enforcement agencies as they apply to the facility’s equipment and appurtenances

Required to complete Core Blocks in Safety, Environmental, and Company policies and procedures

Required

3 years of experience on pipeline/terminal operating systems

DOT 192 and DOT 195 knowledge and experience in compliance

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects

Experience with Microsoft programs

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle

Strong commitment to personal and team safety

High school diploma or equivalent

High School Diploma

Preferred

5 years of experience on pipeline/terminal operating systems

5 years of electrical & instrumentation experience

5 years of pump maintenance experience

Associate Degree or Certificate of Completion in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an Institution Accredited by one of the National Regional Accrediting Bodies

Associate Degree in related field
