Responsibilities

Receive and efficiently process all customer and sales representative inquiries and orders via phone, e-mail, Web query, and written correspondence within a defined period of time from receipt
Train and follow up with sales representatives on ongoing request for quote submission issues
Update sales representative database with changes that occur (which also includes updates to CRM and sales representative directory)
Increase effectiveness of customer support by having strong product, service and system knowledge through educational offerings and communications to enable solution selling versus product selling
Continually gather critical site information about Howden installed base, collecting it for the CRM system and using it to prospect for additional opportunities
Maintain close working relationship with Regional Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Howden Sales Management and customers in order to improve the service provided to them

Required

3 years of relevant business background in sales or customer service position required
Ability to retain processes and bring to the table new ideas for improvement
Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and representatives
High moral and ethical standards, integrity is continuously apparent
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
Comfortable navigating the Internet
Strong interpersonal skills - active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); good collaboration skills
Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced environment while producing quality work
Ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting time constraints

Preferred

Associate's degree in Business
