Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Information Technology system architectures, frameworks, and solutions to meet business requirements
Define system design principles, standards, and best practices to guide system development and deployment
Evaluate system technologies, tools, and platforms to recommend optimal system designs and implementations
Conduct system assessments, architecture reviews, and performance tuning to optimize system performance
Lead system design workshops, technical discussions, and architectural decisions with development teams
Establish system governance, compliance, and security measures to ensure system integrity and quality
Mentor, coach, and train system developers, engineers, and architects on system architecture principles
Stay informed about system architecture trends, emerging technologies, and industry standards
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and Information Technology teams to align system architecture with business objectives
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six or more years of relevant experience
Requires analysis and solution of unique problems with no campus or external precedents
Preferred
Master's Degree
Proven experience administering Azure AD/Entra ID, including cloud identity management, identity synchronization from on-prem AD, Windows Hello, conditional access policies, and federation of identities for access to external applications
Experience in GCC and commercial environments
Knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, Okta
Experience with hybrid identity solutions integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD
Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including RBAC, PIM, SSO, and federation
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools for Azure AD administration
Familiarity with security best practices, compliance requirements, and identity governance frameworks
In-depth knowledge of Azure AD services, including but not limited to user and group management, conditional access, identity protection, multi-factor authentication, and Azure AD Connect
Azure certifications such as AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Microsoft Azure Administration, Security Engineer certifications, Security+, or any additional related IT certifications are beneficial
