Responsibilities
Coordinate engineering for steam and power generation projects
Design of electrical drawings, specifications, cable tray, conduit, and cabling designs
Specification of switchgear, MCC’s, transformers, motors, lighting panels, lighting, PLC’s, VFD’s, etc
Coordination of subcontract packages for electrical contractors
Maintain one-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc
Travel to the project construction site as needed throughout the duration of the project (approximately 25% travel)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Five (5) years of experience in the design of electrical power systems in heavy industrial settings
Experience using the latest version of AutoCAD or Revit
Preferred
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
Specific experience working for an EPC firm involved in steam and power projects
