Entry Civil Engineer - Site-Development
Morrison-Maierle is a 100% employee-owned firm specializing in integrated consulting and design services in engineering, planning, surveying, and science. They are seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join their Land Development group, where the engineer will gain experience in planning, design, and construction of site-development projects under the guidance of a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities
Work with the client and project team to interpret the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings
Support project tasks including technical report writing and coordination with multidisciplinary team, architects, and clients
Participate in assessing the suitability of the site for development
Assist with the design and planning for infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, and grading
Learn and understand regulatory requirements and assist with necessary permitting to meet project requirements
Participate in the development engineering design process from conception to completion
Learn how to formulate cost estimates and prepare and manage budgets
Provide construction administration service support during the construction phase of the project
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program
0–3+ years of experience with civil engineering design and construction projects
Technical mindset for troubleshooting and resolving complex problems
Strong communication, both verbal and written
Possess a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel
Preferred
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation preferred or willing to obtain soon after hire
Exposure to engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Civil3D
