Responsibilities

Follow detailed procedures in the processing of engine components throughout the chemical clean line process, using various methods in the preparation of the part for repair and overhaul

Perform various cleaning operations, such as chemical cleaning, power wash, nitric strip, paint strip and titanium oven bakes

Routinely use overhead cranes and ensure cleansing tank times and parameters are adhered to during the process

Demonstrate, on a consistent basis, the ability to follow detailed procedures

Accurately log all process and results in department job log

Communicate all work-related problems and issues with supervisors or other departments in a timely and efficient manner

Required

Some work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar

Knowledge of machines, equipment, and workplace safety

Ability or experience following directions and reading work instructions

Demonstrated ability or experience in being able to effectively communicate with team members, including recognizing and adapting to a structured training program

High school or technical school graduate or equivalent

Careful attention to detail

Capable of handling multiple tasks

Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs

Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
